Originally published as a greeting card, done all digitally using PhotoShop and Painter. I kept the background detail minimal to focus more on the action and not detract from the expressions.]]>

	<title>Paddlefest - a river party</title>

Paddlefest is a sort of a redneck river party... every type of floating craft... innovation gets the awards.<br />
As usual, I use a wacom intuos 3 pen tablet and did this in Photoshop. First doing the drawing using a variable weight brush tip, then doing the color work on overlays to keep the integrity of the ink layer. This is all computer done... no scans. The type was also done in Photoshop with some distortion applied to the &quot;Paddlefest&quot; word. The files are converted to cmyk, some color tweaking done and then exported into an .eps format for the print process.]]>
